He is a very well known academician-cum-social worker and has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, training, research, and, educational administration. He has also been actively involved in project conceptualization, appropriate technology-innovation & dissemination, in construction of small dams, micro-lift irrigation schemes & fund-raising with various national & international development agencies. He did his B. Tech from IIT, BHU, Varanasi in Civil Engineering in 1985 and his Masters from University of Roorkee. He was the member of Planning Commission’s ‘Sub-Group on Rural Industrialization’, Govt. of India, in the year 2000. He had been Director, Regional Centre for Appropriate Rural Technology (RCART), Bishunpur, Dist Gumla of Jharkhand between 1998 and 2000 and also served as the Principal, ‘Agivika Research &Training Centre’, Krishi Gram Vikas Kendra, Ranchi in 2003 (part of the well-known Usha Martin Industrial Group).

He also has an excellent experience of quarter-to-five years of intense research and development, training, team leadership, and appropriate technology-dissemination experience in Professional Assistance for Development Action (, a national level NGO, from 1991 to 1996 as part of collaboration with various national and international organizations. He has worked with various organizations and development groups to motivate and enhance, through continuous training and education, the capacities of the village folks, youths and women to increase their livelihood status through sustained efforts at self-organization and enterprise-promotion. He has worked with a federation of village level NGOs by the name of Sarbik Rarh Unnayan Gaunta (SRUG), Purulia, West Bengal, working on S & T promotion, and, S&T based appropriate Technology Dissemination Activities like Soil & water management, and, rural industries through women’s Self Help Groups & Youth Clubs in villages in Purulia and Bankura districts from 19th January 1996 to 24th July 2004 along with other socially re-constructive activities during this period. He was also a Consultant to a well-known NGO-Society for Rural Industrialization based in Ranchi, which was implementing various Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. Of India as well as foreign funded projects.

He has an excellent experience working with different NGOs and many engineering colleges at various positions. Presently, he is working with ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad as the Directorate of Mentoring and Monitoring (DMM). He is associated with the activities of HUHC for last one year and has always guided and monitored us with his knowledge thus gathered through his huge experiences and researches in different fields in past 25 years.
